As the mega-fans of UNO recoil in horror and one-star the game’s latest update, Gameloft is preparing a patch to address two of their core issues: the ads and the crashes. In an e-mail floated to us this afternoon, we get the impression that the development team behind the game has identified what the crash problem stems from. More importantly, though, it’s fixing it.
The same goes for the ads, which were essentially links to other Gameloft titles. As of this upcoming update, they’ll be removed from the main menu and the loading screen, which were the two places they appeared in the first place.
As for the IAP cards… well, apparently there’s been a misunderstanding on the user end, as you can disable bonus cards before every match. We’ve also been told that the game doesn’t allow you to use bonus cards that other players don’t have access to, which makes a lot of sense from a competitive design standpoint, but has us scratching our heads over the reviews that game has been seeing post-multiplayer update.
As for an ETA on the fixes, we don’t have one yet. We’ve touched base about that and I’d imagine we’ll be able to get that to you at some point in the near future.
The IAP cards shouldn't exist period. They are getting bad reviews for being a bad developer.

I really like the concept but I find the controls to be really hard to get used too... wouldn't be bad if I didn't have to worry about moving the thing up and down but switching between both is really a pain for me :(

I found the controls to be a bit tough as well. I'm playing on my iPhone so I think that's a factor. Moving the nozzle to an angle isn't an issue because your finger can be anywhere on the screen. Up and down was the issue for me because you have to be precisely on the nozzle and sometimes it angle instead of go up/down costing me time and water. Regardless, it's a phenomenal game and I'm getting used to the controls. I'm concerned about the number of levels though.
This is a really fun action/puzzle game. It does take some initial time to get familiar with the sprayer controls, but once you do, it's a blast! The water and fire effects are really good and the planet inhabitants add so much charm to the game, you really DO want to protect those helpless little aliens.
Very well done game, hopefully there will be more levels and Game Center added as well!

It's good to hear the extra level packs can be opened with skill and not only through IAP like someone in the weekly release thread thought. I don't like supporting games that aren't transparent about how you're expected to unlock content, and I bought this one blindly for the sharp graphic style and interesting mechanic. Good to hear they did the right thing and made it an option to pay, but not mandatory.
You know , like he said : you have to obtain all of the drop in each level to unlock the next level so it REALLY HARDER than you think!!

Awesome game. Looks absolutely gorgeous. Water physics are just great.
Also like the idea of getting all stars to nock next level pack with an option for paying to unlock it. Most such star based games offer no real incentive to get those stars other than getting slightly higher on global leader boards, so I rarely ever bother to get perfect score. But now that I kow I can save a buck or two, I'm definitely trying get all those 5 stars (or drops as u call them in this game)
