Hello gentle readers, and welcome to the SwitchArcade Round-Up for July 30th, 2024. In today’s article, we make our way through a slightly slower Tuesday in terms of new releases. Just one new game to look at, and we’ll do just that. After that, we’ve got some sales to discuss. This is a slightly shorter article due to me spending a good chunk of my day at the hospital, but we’ll make up for it later in the week. For now, let’s get to what we’ve got!

The Garden Path ($19.99)
A game that describes itself as a slice-of-life gardening sim, meant to be played in short sessions in a manner similar to Animal Crossing. Like that game, things will keep happening while you’re not playing, so feel free to do what you need to and come back another day. There are lots of interesting characters to meet, and some activities outside of gardening to engage in. It’s a very opaque and slow-paced affair, which is going to appeal to some players and push others away. Unfortunately, this Switch version is suffering from a number of bugs at the moment. You might want to wait for a patch or two.
