Hi, I bought Resident Evil Village this morning (I have iPhone 15 Pro Max), unfortunately the game crashes after a few minutes.
I've tried changing various graphics settings, occupying 4500GB/5800GB but the problem remains....
Tonight I'll install it on the iPad Pro M1 and see if I have the same problem.
Does this happen to anyone else?

P.s. From what I read around, if you want to avoid crashes, you should not play around with the graphic settings but use the quick configuration settings: Quality or Performance.

P.p.s. Last night I installed REV on the ipad Pro 12" M1 with 16GB of ram.
I tried putting all the graphics settings to maximum (including, maximum resolution and 8GB of textures) and the game runs very well, especially in over an hour of play I haven't had any crashes.

Hey, I played on my M1 12.9 2TB 16gb model too. Did you really put on max settings? Ambient occlusion, light scattering etc…? I maxed out the settings, utilizing 14gb out of 16gb of memory and it ran in slow motion…lol. In order to truly max it out you have to turn OFF Metal, so you can have access to all other settings. If Metal is ON all the other settings are greyed out.

You are right, by disabling Metal, and maxing out the other options (especially "image quality") the game becomes a fixed-screen graphic adventure :D
But with Metal enabled and set to quality and everything else to maximum, it remains perfectly playable.

It’s amazing how beautiful it plays and the graphics quality. I knew Apple could recruit AAA developers if they tried. I’m excited to see what the future holds. I buy all the AAA games to play my part in incentivizing developers to come to the platform. Alien Isolation, Divinity Original Sin 2, Grid AutoSport, Wreckfest etc and as many high quality entries from not so major studios too. Such as Journey, Battle Chasers, Pascals Wager, Edith Finch… you get the idea. I was and am still so excited about RE Village. Magnificent port!!
