Location-based AR game The Witcher: Monster Slayer (Free) from CD Projekt Red’s in-house studio Spokko Games has been getting updated quite often following its launch on iOS and Android. These updates include new challenges, monster types, stamps, and more in addition to events. Today, Spokko Games announced that The Witcher: Monster Slayer is shutting down on June 30th, 2023. The game will be delisted on January 31st, 2023 with in app purchases being disabled the same day. Once delisted, it will still be playable until servers shut down in June. The official announcement FAQ also mentions that while some staff will be joining CD Projekt development projects, some will unfortunately be let go. Hopefully everyone affected finds something soon. Until the game is delisted next month, you can grab The Witcher: Monster Slayer on the App Store for iOS here and on Google Play for Android here to check it out before servers are turned off in June.
