The latest in a very long line of Ragnarok Online spin-off games for mobile is titled Ragnarok: The Lost Memories, and it’s all ready to launch on both iOS and Android devices next week. This is a story about a boy who obsessively plays a video game until, one day, he wakes up to find that he’s actually stuck in the fantasy world of that very game. Monsters approach from all sides and just when it seems like the boy will end up being lunch, a wizard named Rina comes to his rescue and fights off the monsters. Lost in this world the boy follows Rina, but the more time he spends with her the more he realizes the two had known each other somehow already. You could say he starts to discover some… lost memories. Hey, that’s this game’s title! Check out the story trailer.
Ragnarok: The Lost Memories promises that it “brings back all the nostalgia and classic game experience of the original" Ragnarok Online, but this time with a new card battling mechanic at its core. Collect cards to build out your deck while also collecting heroes to build out your squad. The game will also feature a huge equipment system, a PvP arena, Guilds, daily quests, and more. You can head over to the game’s website to pre-register to earn some rewards on launch, and there’s a special Facebook Like event where you can earn even more in-game rewards and some lucky players will receive Google Play gift cards. Finally, you can unlock extra rewards by pre-ordering on the iOS App Store or on the Google Play Store for Android. Ragnarok: The Lost Memories will launch on iOS and Android on January 13th.
