Today, Niantic has announced the Pokemon GO Season of Legends and Pokemon GO Battle League Season 7 for next week. There will no doubt be a lot of Pokemon news through this month and more with the 25th anniversary of Pokemon. Check out the official website for the celebration here. Beginning March 1st, the Season of Legends in Pokemon GO begins featuring Therian Forme Tornadus, Therian Forme Thundurus, and Therian Forme Landorus. The Pokemon GO Season of Legends follows the Season of Celebrations when it begins on March 1st at 8 AM. The Season of Legends will go on until June 1st at 10 AM local time. Expect more Pokemon to debut in Legendary Raids and Mega Raids, different Pokemon in the wild, hemisphere-exclusive Pokemon, season-exclusive Special Research, and more.
Alongside the Season of Legends in Pokemon GO, the GO Battle League Season 7 also begins on March 1st. From 1 PM PST, trainers will be able to get end-of-season rewards for Season 6 including an Elite Fast TM for those who reached rank 19 or higher. This GO Battle League season will feature the Great League until March 15th, Ultra League and its Premier Cup from March 15th to March 29th, and more planned until the end of May. Check out the full timetable here. Season 7 rewards include Pikachu Libre avatar items, an Elite Charged TM, and more. For Cups, Season 7 includes the Great League Remix, Retro Cup, and Kanto Cup.
