Tcheco in the Castle of Lucio is a retro-styled platformer that’s based on an obscure underground animated show in Brazil that, as best I can tell, dates back to the late ’90s. It also appears to be an incredibly… strange show, and that has translated well in video game form in Tcheco in the Castle of Lucio. The game first launched on PC back in 2015 where it was quite well-received, and then in June of last year it made its way to Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch. Well today developer Fantastico Studio has announced that Tcheco in the Castle of Lucio will now be making its way to iOS and Android devices in just a couple of days, on January 13th. Check out this trailer from its console launch.
That’s certainly a weird looking game! And I am totally here for it. While no pricing was announced for Tcheco in the Castle of Lucio on mobile, the Steam version is a paltry 99¢ and the console version is a similarly inoffensive five dollars, so my guess is that the iOS and Android versions won’t break the bank either. If you like retro-styled games and platformers, and weird stuff, check out Tcheco in the Castle of Lucio when it launches on mobile later this week.
