Another day, another free to play character collecting RPG battler for mobile. Which isn’t the worst thing in the world, as the glut of choices in this genre means that you can pretty much find a mobile RPG battler based on whatever your favorite thing happens to be. If your favorite thing happens to be LEGO, then you were probably pretty stoked when Gameloft announced back in May that they’d partnered up with the iconic Danish company to create a new mobile RPG battler called LEGO Legacy: Heroes Unboxed that would allow you to collect minifigures and build play sets from across the vast history of LEGO and then battle it out for supremacy. This week a pre-registration campaign opened up for LEGO Legacy: Heroes Unboxed which also brought forth a brand new trailer that shows a lot more than the initial teaser did back in May, check it out.
If you head over to the game’s official website, you can sign up for pre-registration, and as is typical with these types of things the more people who pre-register the more rewards will be dished out when LEGO Legacy: Heroes Unboxed launches this fall. One cool addition to this campaign is that those who sign up will be able to vote for their favorite minifigure out of three options, and the one that gets the most votes will be gifted to all players when the game launches. The choices are the guy in the hot dog suit Hot Dog Man, the pirate Darwin, and the space soldier Blacktron Dwayne. If you don’t pick Hot Dog Man then we can’t be friends. While I sort of have free to play fatigue as of late, I’ve been a massive LEGO fan for as long as I can remember, so I may just indulge in LEGO Legacy: Heroes Unboxed when it launches later this year.
