Back in April Hi-Rez Studios announced SMITE Blitz, an upcoming action RPG for mobile that is based in an alternate universe of Hi-Rez’s super popular MOBA SMITE. It looks to provide “a huge variety of story, challenge and PvP game modes​" and will launch with 60 of the Gods from SMITE proper, with more already planned to be added post-release. At the time of that announcement a technical alpha version was made available for early players to test out, and Hi-Rez has stated that that early testing phase was extremely helpful in ironing out issues when a huge number of players were accessing the game. Now they’re moving onto the next phase and preparing a soft-launch for SMITE Blitz, and they’ve also made the game available for pre-registration on both iOS and Android alongside releasing this nifty new trailer.

As with most pre-registration campaigns for upcoming free to play games, the more people that pre-register, the more rewards will unlock when the game officially launches. As shown on the game’s official website, in-game gems will be awarded at the 250,000 and 500,000 marks, “Sacrificial Crystals" will be awarded at 750,000, and if the pre-registrations get to the one million mark then the Mayan God of Rain Chaac will be given out to all players. As mentioned a soft launch should be happening soon, and the expected release date on the pre-order page is listed as November 1st, so expect to hear more from SMITE Blitz in the near future.
