As with every big upcoming PUBG Mobile (Free) update, the official Twitter account starts posting teaser videos and slowly revealing everything to expect in the update. With 0.8.0, the big addition is obviously the new Sanhok map that has been much better than Miramar on Xbox One at least. In addition to the date, 0.8.0 releases, the game will be taken offline for about 8 hours beginning 8 PM on September 10th (EDT). Servers will come back online when the maintenance ends.
Sanhok is a smaller map and it has been out on the PC version of PUBG for a while now before finally hittin the Xbox One version last week. The mobile version is usually up to speed or a bit faster than the Xbox One release with content. Update 0.8.0 also has new weapons specifically for Sanhok and new vehicles. More details will be revealed closer to launch. Check out the map below:

Hey Toucharcade, unrelated question but has Valve pushed out another TestFlight update for Steam Link? I figure the last build they deployed back on June 14th should be approaching expiration. I’m curious ‘cause if the build expires then we can safely assume Valve has given up, otherwise there’s still hope. Would really appreciate an update from you. Thanks
Whoa sorry! It took one of your comments getting stuck in the spam filter for me to see your questions. I rarely have time to read the comments anymore. Unfortunately there is no news, they haven’t pushed out any more builds to testflight and last I’ve heard is that Apple still won’t let it through.
Thanks for the update Jared. One last question if you don’t mind. Is your TestFlight beta build still active or has it expired. It’s so frustrating that both Valve and Apple have stayed so mum about this whole thing. Really appreciate you getting back on this.
It's not even on our testflight at all anymore, it just kind of vanished I guess.
