While most fans of the franchise have been forced to wait or playthrough collections of the games on PS3 and then PS4 to get their Kingdom Hearts gameplay fix, many have been playing KINGDOM HEARTS Union χ [Cross] (Free) on mobile. It could’ve been a lot better but it has been seeing collaboration events as has become the norm with most social RPGs on mobile. Today’s collaboration is appropriate given that we’re finally (hopefully no more delays) less than 12 months away from on PS4 and Xbox One.

This collaboration is live now and will go on until the end of this month (July 31st). Buzz Lightyear, Woody, and more character medals join in the fun in a new Toy Story Collaboration Event. This event is also to celebrate the opening of Toy Story Land at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.

Woody and Buzz are available as powerful new medals while there will be special event quests that let you earn Jessie & Rex & Hamm medals once certain objectives are cleared. There will likely be more collaboration events as we lead up to the release of Kingdom Hearts III in January 2019.
