Spanish developer BeautiFun Games are known for their unique and moody platforming adventure Nihilumbra ($2.99) as well as their strategy RPG Megamagic: Wizards of the Neon Age, and today they’ve announced their newest project which falls right in line with their previous titles in looking really strange (in a good way). It’s called Professor Lupo and his Horrible Pets and it’s a puzzle adventure that has you playing as a lowly intern who is tasked with escaping the Aurora Space Station after a bunch of man-eating alien creatures have escaped. Check out the game’s trailer.
One of the cool things about Professor Lupo and his Horrible Pets is that the game will focus heavily on the narrative, which isn’t always the case in puzzle games. Each character has actual voice overs and with more than 100 levels to play through and the massive space station to explore there are bound to be some twists and turns with regards to Professor Lupo and his batch of alien killers. While no release date has been set yet, BeautiFun is hoping to have Professor Lupo and his Horrible Pets out in early 2018 on iOS, Android, desktop, and more so be sure to keep an eye out for it.
