Back in May developer Ogre Pixel, creator of the fantastic castle defense/shooter Warcher Defenders (Free) as well as the top-down dungeon adventure Black Tower Enigma (Free), announced their next game, a spell-tracing game called Swipe Casters. In the months since Ogre Pixel has been making all sorts of progress on the game, and at last they have an official release date: Swipe Casters will arrive on iOS and Android on August 30th. Use your finger to draw gestures and cast powerful spells against nasty creatures on this new title by Ogre Pixel! Located in the same universe as Warcher Defenders and Black Tower Enigma, on Swipe Casters you will take the role of one of the four magicians chosen to compete on the magicians tournament… But… Where is the prize?! The Magician’s Chalice has been stolen! – We must get it back!" I like the premise behind Swipe Casters and given my love for Ogre Pixel’s previous games I’m quite excited to finally get my hands on it next week.
