Next week is shaping up to be a busy release week, and we have news of yet another pretty high profile game that’s scheduled to hit next Thursday: Maze Lord, the roguelike puzzler from Jetdogs Studios that launched on Steam last year and is making its way to iOS courtesy of Crescent Moon Games. I’m always onboard for a good dungeon crawler, so check out the launch trailer from the Steam version of Maze Lord.
One key difference from the desktop version of Maze Lord and the upcoming mobile port is that on mobile the game will be played in portrait orientation in an effort to make it more friendly for one-handed play. This is music to my own ears as I’m a huge one-handed game advocate, and typically that sort of thing fits in well with the style of mobile gaming when you’re simply busting out your phone here and there throughout the day to fill in those moments of down time. While no price has been confirmed yet Maze Lord will be a premium release, so if you’re into dungeon crawlers and puzzlers keep an eye out for it next week.
UPDATE: The Treasury feature discussed previously in this article is not actually part of the mobile release plan at this time, the article text has been changed to reflect that and we apologize for the error.
