Back in September we showed you the trailer for Fangold: The Eventful Adventures of Land of Britain, a card battler/open world RPG mashup that’s also a spinoff of desktop MMO Land of Britain. While we’ve got card battlers coming out of our ears nowadays, Fangold seemed unique in its focus on world exploration, completing quests, and gathering materials to craft cards for your deck. That initial trailer was more of a brief overview of the game, and last month a second trailer for Fangold focused more on the card battling portions. This week developer Potato Killer Studios has released yet another new trailer and this time has chosen to focus mostly on the adventuring portions of Fangold. Check it out.
While no firm release date has been set, Fangold continues to look really interesting to me, and not just because the main character in this latest trailer appears to be some sort of tree person. I’m also oddly drawn to the Inn customization part of the game, as I certainly have a thing for decorating virtual spaces if my Animal Crossing addiction is anything to go by. Anyway, we’ll be keeping an eye out for any new info or a release date for Fangold: The Eventful Adventures of Land of Britain and will be sure to let you know once we hear anything.
