Square Enix Montreal is at work on a new update to Deus Ex Go ($4.99) called the Puzzle Maker update. While the studio isn’t revealing a lot of details beyond that, what the first screenshot they have shows is some options that will let players make their own levels for the third game in the Go puzzle series. Making and sharing puzzles would be a good way to give this entry some originality compared to the other 2 games, for sure.
Square Enix Montreal apparently needs some help in bringing this to fruition, as they have launched a signup page for beta testers to help test the app. Seeing what other people do with the feature could be helpful – and while it’s rare for a studio the size of Square Enix Montreal to do something like this, with the game already being out, no harm in letting the public try it out and get feedback from them, I suppose. If you are intrigued, you should go ahead and check out the beta.
