It’s that time of the year, so developer after developer is spilling Halloween ooze over games, and today was the turn of Supercell and Clash of Clans (Free). The central theme of the Halloween update for this year is Boosted Brews & Bones, and you can figure out what that means in the context of the game. For a limited time, Boost Spell brewing for 1 Gem only and cheaper and faster training for Skeleton Spells, Witches, Balloons, and Wall Breakers. Expect plenty of “chilling surprises" – like spooky obstacles – to pop up during this period, although what those might be only the Gods of Halloween know.

In addition to gameplay changes, there is also a nice Halloween theme in the game now that makes the game spookier than usual (there are so many skeletons and witches in Clash of Clans, you don’t really need a Halloween patch to make it Halloween).
