If you are an Android user, you’re in luck because War of Crown, Gamevil’s and Asone Games’ upcoming turn-based strategy RPG, is going to have a closed beta only for Android users from September 28th to October 2nd. The pre-registration period for the beta runs until Sept. 27th, so you still have a week to try and get into the beta. Keep in mind that only players from the US, Korea, and Japan can join. If you manage to get into the beta, you’ll get $50 worth of in-game currency that you can use once the game launches globally. Not a bad deal at all.
But what is War of Crown? It’s a turn-based strategy RPG aiming to offer depth rivaling console titles of the same genre. At the same time, the developers are emphasizing that they’ve made sure the game is tailored for mobile. The tactical side of the things includes 3D maps with elevation and terrain that actually matters. And I do like the art style.
