Late last month we learned about a new level editor that was heading to Hanger World (Free), the absurd physics-based swinging and disembodying game released in July of last year. Today that level editor update is now available, and it’s everything I hoped it would be. Creating levels is stupidly easy as you just choose from a selection of items and drag them around the screen where you want them. The standard shapes you can even resize and reshape by pulling on the corners, so with a little creativity you can create just about any kind of landscape you desire.

It’s cool too because new items are unlocked in the editor using coins that you collect both from your own created levels and those created by others, so it gives incentive to actually use the editor yourself. When you’ve created a level you like you can Publish it, which means a unique link is created for your level and you’re able to share it using the standard iOS share sheet. So Tweet it, email it, iMessage it, that sort of thing. Hanger World’s developers will also be handpicking some of their favorite levels to feature inside the game itself. If you haven’t checked out Hanger World before you really need to get on that, as it’s free and tons of fun. I can’t wait to see what sort of levels come from this new addition!
