Paid games are all going on sale for the holiday season, and Supergiant Games has two of the biggest and best deals for you, as far as how much game you get for how little money you’re spending. Transistor ($4.99), released for iOS earlier this year, is on sale for the paltry sum of $2.99. This is the lowest price that the game has ever been, and it’s even lower than the price on Steam. Plus, you can play it on your Apple TV, and with a controller on your iPhone or iPad, so you’re getting a stupid bargain here for the same experience you’d get on a grown-up system.
But wait, there’s more. Supergiant’s earlier game, Bastion ($4.99), a similar isometric action-RPG that was also critically acclaimed and is still unique, is on sale for a dollar. This one isn’t on Apple TV yet, but it supports controllers, so you can still get a similar experience as you would have gotten if you bought the PC version, and all for literal pennies. Crazy.

I thought the first one was ok but massively overrated - never really understood what it got the praise it did but I love this to bits
Very nice review. I wish this have came out earlier for a price drop now on holidays. All that good deals are killing my wallet!

Here we go Badland, here we go w00t w00t! Great review, awesome frickin game!
Dat 5 stars! I love it! ;)
Haven't played badlands for a while. My only gripe with the original is that it should have had Bluetooth multiplayer, so players can play together on their own separate devices.
Going to buy it at full price ($5) simply to support them for the amazing level of support they provided for the original. I really appreciated it and this sort of dedication deserves to be recognized!
HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL!
BADLAND 2 is awesome and a completely unexpected surprise! A small pity that the original BADLAND has now stopped moving for now, but I say it's worth the effort to improve BADLAND 2 further!
Unfortunately, I don't like this review here on TouchArcade. First of all, it starts off with an unnecessary opening talking about sequels. Then, it starts talking about how the new BADLAND pales to the original by talking about what is missing from the original.
It doesn't a lot of time talking about its pros, and even the main plus (omnidirectional flying) is slightly put down by the mention of being unable to explore as you please.
The last paragraph goes back to bashing the game AGAIN.
If I were the reader of this review, and never tried the game before, I would be puzzled why TouchArcade rated 5 stars. The review tells me anything but that.
This review could had concentrated more on the strong points of this game. Also, shift the negatives to the back. Make it seem minor. If not, this review doesn't do this awesome game justice.
ok
Someone gives very reasonable argument on why they didn't like the review without any unnecessary bashing, I don't see what's wrong with that.
Me neither?
Everyone on same page. Da.
Haha, I love the title.
No mention of the new 3D Touch control features available with iPhone 6S/6S Plus?
