Here’s a thing! A sort of a, uh, “note," I guess: As many of you have pointed out in emails, forum posts, tweets, Facebook messages, telegrams, smoke signals, messenger pigeons, and more comments have been broken on The TouchArcade App (Free) for the past couple weeks. I was worried that fixing this might require an update to the app, which is something Apple won’t let us do as it violates rules 2.25 and 2.26, so it could’ve been one more nail in the coffin for the ol’ app, but our developers figured out a way to get comments working again entirely on our side.
So, if you’ve been upset you haven’t been able to point out we rated Candy Crush five stars compared to a recent game review score, that it’s a weak week for game releases, or that Carter doesn’t know what he’s talking about, how sarcasm missed the mark, or other highly intelligent arguments, it’s open season to get back to doing what you do best. If you’re not using our app yet, you should really give it a try. It’s a cool way to discover games on the App Store outside of Apple’s featuring system and it presents all the TouchArcade content in a even more mobile-friendly way than our mobile web view.
Fingers crossed nothing else breaks in the app anytime soon!
