Perishtronic Studios last month released their game Spinner Tronic on Android, and now they’re working on bringing the game to iOS very soon. Spinner Tronic is described by developer Perishtronic Studios as a “techno-arcade game," which seems like a good way to describe anything derived from Super Hexagon ($2.99) as this game is. You control a spinner around a spinning game board, with different pie-shaped indicators popping up for you to try and tap on. Depending on which side of the screen you tap, you either keep spinning in that direction or spin back in the other one. Each indicator has different criteria to be removed, such as being hit multiple times, or tapping-and-holding, and so on.
The game has three different difficulty modes, with Alpha being the ‘easy’ one, Beta being faster, harder, and with new types of pieces to remove, and Omega making it difficult to even score any points at all. Seriously, good luck at that, it’s a brutal challenge.
There’s no release date for the game yet on iOS – you can pick it up on Android right now, and the game is currently running on iOS, so hopefully you’ll see it soon.
