Turkish developer chkkll has a nifty upcoming endless action game coming out next Wednesday, called Vektor: The Courier. Players control a motorcycle rider, weaving through traffic, and fighting off other riders while dodging cars and just generally trying to stay alive as things get more intense. The score isn’t shown while playing, so it’s just about focusing on the task at hand. Check out the trailer to see the game and hear its soundtrack in action:
Vektor: The Courier has what seems to be a consciously low-resolution visual style, that can look ugly at first glance (especially on a retina iPad) but definitely gives off the feel of intent, of looking like something that’s been scaled up purposely. Hey, not everything has to look consciously nice. The game’s going to be free with ads, and releases next Wednesday. Chkkll did the overwhelming majority of the game’s design, code, art, and sound, with some outside contributions, and it’s interesting to see a game from Turkey, a country not often represented when games are talked about.
This is a remarkably stylish game that should be well worth checking out once it releases, and the menu seemingly promises more content to come, which would be really interesting to see.

Ok, bought. Love these articles.
Nicely written! Spot on in all regards.
Great choice Shaun! Great article! Thank you for sharing your wisdom! Love this Rpg! Hopefully some day Costume Quest 2 will be release on ios!
Perfect choice for Halloween! I absolutely love this game and it's sequel. Just finished it again on my iphone. Only problem I run into is one costume misfiring and not letting me tap at all before it attacks. Made it through without that costume the first time though. Thanks for the great write up! Only wish I could play a few battles even after the game ends. Maybe it's time I put those Grubbins on ice. ;)
The cat, right?
Yup. Man, I really wanted to see the special move. Guess I'll have to play through it on Steam next year. I've got both, but I'm going through Costume Quest 2 on Steam right now. Doubt I'll finish it by tonight, but I might put in more time this weekend.
Great great game. one of the best things about it was how well it translated from consoles and PC to iOS. Can't wait for the second one.
Second one is pretty good. It's more of the same in new locations with plot twists. So, I'd highly recommend it. I'm playing on a Mac through Steam and it's been great. I was going to get both on PSN, but I won a Steam code so I've been playing it there!
Great pick.
Reloaded? Damn!! I've still not got to it. Even my backlog now has it's own backlog.
AWESOME
You can play Baldur's gate on ipod??
