Last week an upcoming platformer named Goblin Sword really grabbed our attention with its beautiful screenshots, and today we’re even more excited for the game as for the first time we’re seeing it in motion in the game’s just released official trailer. To quickly recap, Goblin Sword is an action platformer with 48 levels to play, 6 boss fights, and lots of weapons, armors and items to loot. Oh, and goblins! Check out the trailer.
The still shots of Goblin Sword looked great, but man, this thing in motion just looks killer. I’m a platforming game fanatic so I’m really hoping the controls and general “feel" of the game match how good it looks. I won’t have long to wait to find out, as Goblin Sword is locked and loaded for a release this Thursday, and should arrive late Wednesday night here in the US. It’ll be Universal, have no IAP, and will launch at a discounted price of 99¢ before bumping up to $1.99 at some point in the future. For more, check out the forum thread.
