Hearthstone (Free) is getting its first expansion next Tuesday. Pricing details were already announced, and you can buy it in one of two ways: Drop a total of 2,800 in game gold, or spend $24.99. Like World of Warcraft’s Naxxramas raid instance, the expansion is split in to “wings," which each wing sold individually. The cool part of all of this is that the price to unlock things decreases as you spend gold to unlock things, so you can basically just dump the gold you’ve been saving and then pick up the rest for a discounted amount of real-world cash.
The Arachnid Quarter will unlock first, with each of the five wings being unlocked weekly after the gates are open. If you play during the launch event, you’ll get access to the arachnid quarter for free, which should provide players a taste of what’s to come. Additionally, doing the staggered release like this should allow people who want to endlessly grind gold to get everything for free the ability to do so as each wing is opened up.
Pretty neat, I can’t wait to play it.

Bleh, hit post on accident. I think this is going to be free to play unless im thinking of another walking dead game that is coming out. So im hopeful, but skeptical at the same time.
why would you expect amc to make a decent ios game? like the game already bears the name "the walking dead" ... i think its more than enough to sell and advertise the show. why would they need to invest money on top of that to make it actually good? of course it'll be terrible and the freemium aspect (100% positive its gonna be free2play) will be the least of your concerns!
Well, the video has some awesome graphics, though, will this be in-game graphics? I highly doubt so, but its on my watchlist and Im really looking forward to its arrival :) Free to play or not, I am going to at least try it, even though I wish that they released a premium TWD game with proper content and not a short gameplay story :P Expectations are high on this one :)

if you've been following ios gaming at least for the past 2 years there's no reason at all to fall in THIS TRAP. if this was gonna be a cool FPS or survival horror type of thing (or even any other decent type of game) they would've say it to get people hyped! not the BS you can see in those quotes. Anyway expect something like simpson taped out at the very best...
