I’m a big Minecraft fan, but that pretty much consists of me exploring the world, fighting enemies, and generally just adventuring about. When it comes to the crazy stuff that can be created from within Minecraft, I just am not smart enough to do any of it. I just can’t wrap my head around it. Such is the case with this latest video where YouTuber McMakistein has recreated the awesome strategy game Plague Inc. ($0.99) inside of Minecraft. The entire world map is there, and the game works by you sparking off a plague in the country of your choosing and trying to get it to spread everywhere and destroy all of humanity before a cure can be found. Pretty much just like in the regular Plague Inc. There’s even coins to collect and upgrades to buy. Check it out.
As you can see towards the end of the video, McMakistein goes behind the scenes and shows all the complex Redstone machines that drive the Plague Inc. gameplay. This is where my mind boggles. I don’t think I’ll ever be smart enough to create something like that, but I sure do appreciate that there are people out there doing this sort of stuff so I can kick back and enjoy it.

Nothing again! Getting sick of all these 16 bit releases. They were from a bygone age. Current devices deserve much better.
well, some of these are even 8bit - but that makes them even better for me :)

I agree I know someone always says it's a poor week every week but I usually find something I want. May try the town and chicken games but don't really want any.

The gameplay video make me sleep already, I don't dare to imagine playing it. I am having so much fun with battleheart legacy. Our liking seems to be on different level. Yours is on the boring level :) lol

I wonder just how long it took "Deep Space Pussy" to get App Store approval... It's not just any pussy, but Deep Space Pussy. I give them props for the original name, in any event.

It may be just me.. But I find it a decent week. Twisty Planets, Fluid SE, VVVVV and Jacob Jones look fantastic! And I'll pick up Jupiter Jump because I'm a sucker for score chasing twitchy games. Everyone either says great week or weak week.. Is there no grey area?
I might be on my own with this, but I'm looking forward to trying (R)evolve. Think it's the 1st Team17 game on iOS that isn't a reboot of one of their 1990s back-catalogue.
