It seems like something The Devil’s Third-related is probably coming to mobile, if we’re correctly reading into the weird messaging that developer Valhalla Game Studios is putting out there.
A letter from Valhalla CEO Satoshi Kanematsu popped up on the studio’s web site earlier this week, revealing that in addition to a PC and console release, The Devil’s Third will hit a “wide range of digital devices." The fact that Valhalla isn’t simply saying “handhelds" or more directly “PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS" makes us think that tablets and phones are a target for release, too. We’re asking for more information.
If you haven’t been following along at home, your probably need to know a few things here. The Devil’s Third is an upcoming character action game that’s being overseen by Tomonobu Itagaki. We’ve got some teaser footage below:
THQ was slated to be the publisher until recently. This letter is the first we’ve seen from Valhalla since it acquired the game’s rights after THQ tried to sell them.

It’s possible (and fun I would think!) to design a really new and different twist on something that exists. I’d much rather have that, than a faithful re-creation of an existing game’s mechanics. Even with an admittedly very nice graphical shift!
Tempe Run can be proud of spawning a (small?) genre, including truly unique gameplay variations like Subway Surfers. But this one just seems way too close to Temple Run.
In my opinion it is better than temple run but I agree with you.
Are u kidding me? The end is sooooo much better than temple run.
Seems like a generous review to me. I found the game to be too easy, boring and the noises got annoying. Temple Run is the original and still the best in my opinion.
Temple run is good. But not as good as the end. This is boss.
I think that this is the best free runner of all time. As much as I love temple run, this app takes the cake. I hope that the developers will keep doing awesome things with this and make the end even better.
I think it's a pretty fun game. My only gripe is with the 5th challenge on each day. I basically spend all my duct tape to skip that challenge... but it gets very expensive very fast... so probably won't get through many more days....
So what I do. Save a bunch of dt doing free run then once u have like 15,000 to 20,000 dt do the challenges. It works 4 me
I think this game deserves 4 or 4,5 stars
Maybe I'm being girly but I find the runner ugly. There's something about the body shape/running motion that really puts me off. It also moves weird when it turns corners and the camera has very strange angles when you jump. I agree that the atmosphere is interesting but overall I didn't find it aesthetically pleasing at all. I'd rather struggle with my low fps Temple Run Brave.
I'm a guy and personally I think The end is way better. This is like the best app and should be no. 1 Temple run was a good forerunner to subway surfers and the end But even though it's not perfect but it is more responsive than temple run. the graphics are better has more obsticles more challenging and it registers the swipes better.
