Earlier today, HandyGames pushed out a major update for Purple Lamp’s SpongeBob SquarePants – The Cosmic Shake ($9.99) on iOS bringing in features and content from the October 2023 PC and console build. SpongeBob SquarePants – The Cosmic Shake debuted on PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC as a new 3D platformer, and it eventually got current generation ports on PS5 and Xbox Series X back in October when an update hit other platforms bringing in a photo mode, new costumes, and more. Details for that update are here. I’m not sure if this update is live on Android as well, but it doesn’t look like it is as of this writing. On iOS, the SpongeBob SquarePants – The Cosmic Shake update brings in 19 filters alongside the photo mode, two new costumes, video quality improvements, many speed run improvements and settings, an auto-continue option for cut-scene dialogue, and more. SpongeBob SquarePants – The Cosmic Shake is available for $39.99 on consoles and PC usually, but it is discounted right now for the Steam sale. The iOS version is priced at $9.99. You can buy SpongeBob SquarePants – The Cosmic Shake on the App Store for iOS here for $9.99 and on Google Play for Android here. I still need to play SpongeBob SquarePants – The Cosmic Shake on Steam Deck to see how it compares with the iPhone 15 Pro version. Did you play SpongeBob SquarePants – The Cosmic Shake on mobile yet, and will you be revisiting it with today’s update?
