Niantic and Capcom have just released a new Monster Hunter Now (Free) update on both iOS and Android with some interesting changes, but no new features as of now. If you’ve not played it yet, read my launch week review of it here. Following this month’s events being revealed, Niantic has pushed out version 62.0 with certain monster attack hitboxes reduced, Jyuratodus behavior changes, AR fixes, and more. Jyuratodus’ behavior has been tweaked for when it emerges from underground to make its orientation consistent, and also sees an increase in the likelihood of parts breaking. Legiana, Great Girros, Rathalos, and Rathian see some attacks have their hitboxes reduced. Other changes include vibration tweaks so the phone doesn’t vibrate when moving at a high speed during restricted gameplay (Niantic needs to fix this annoying restriction).
The rest of the update based on the official support page, mentions friend code copy pasting errors being addressed, friend request sending fixes, BGM fixes on the main menu, and more. If you’ve not gotten it yet, I put together some tips and tricks for the game, details on the weapons, special skills, the current monsters list, my wishlist for future update monsters, and more. You can grab Monster Hunter Now on the App Store for iOS here and on Google Play for Android here. The in app purchases include different sets of gems. Check out the official website here. What do you think of Monster Hunter Now if you’ve been playing it so far on iOS and Android?
