It’s been a couple of months since we last checked in on Diablo Immortal and in that time the game has been doing what it’s been doing since its release in June of last year: Bringing out new seasons with new content and features. This week welcomes the Dark Rebirth update that includes “a chilling descent into the depths of Tristram Cathedral, the new Alley of Blood team-based PvP activity, 3 new Legendary Gems, adjustments to your favorite features, and much more." As always all of the nitty gritty details are available over on the Blizzard blog, but you can check out a brief overview of what’s new in Dark Rebirth in the following trailer.
Dark Rebirth also brings a new Season 18 Battle Pass dubbed “Fresh Meat" that will offer up 40 ranks to work your way through, and this new battle pass will go into effect on September 28th and last until October 26th. I’m really only just barely scratching the surface of everything included in Dark Rebirth, so be sure to check out the aforementioned blog post to get the lowdown on all the specific details. Despite the fact that I kind of churned out of Diablo Immortal not too long after its release, I’m happy to see that it has found an audience after the, er, less than stellar reception it got when it was first unveiled at BlizzCon back in 2018.
