Ubisoft and Level Infinite just announced that Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade will be having a global closed beta on iOS and Android on August 3rd. If you’ve not kept up with it, Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade (working title) is a brand-new Assassin’s Creed game for mobile. It is a free to play open world AAA RPG featuring character creation, iconic Assassin’s Creed gameplay, and more optimized for touch controls. You can now sign up for the Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade closed beta where you explore the path of Xia, set in the 3rd century BC. The world of Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade is full of ancient history, dangers, and more as you take on new challenges. It will also have parkour from roof to roof, multiple ways of assassinating targets, and a big open world. Watch the Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade trailer below:
As of this writing, there is no release date or window for the full game yet, but you can sign up for the closed beta test here. Details for the beta and more are here. This beta will take place on August 3rd globally for iOS and Android. Every showing for Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade has looked great, and I can’t wait to try it out when it does eventually launch. I’m curious to see the monetization as well. If you aren’t a fan of the more RPG-driven games, Ubisoft does have a PC and console game titled Assassin’s Creed Mirage coming this year that aims to be closer to the older games. What do you think of Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade and will you be signing up for the beta ahead of its launch on August 3rd?
