Today Blizzard held a Diablo developer livestream that was chock full of news about Diablo IV and Diablo Immortal. While we loved Diablo IV on Steam Deck, our interests mainly lie in the smartphone and tablet realm, so I’ll just be focusing on what was announced for Diablo Immortal. Following on from the huge version 2.0 update that launched for Diablo Immortal last month to celebrate its first anniversary, today’s event unveiled the Season 15 Battle Pass content as well as a brand new playable class called Blood Knight. Here is a cinematic overview of the Blood Knight class followed by a developer video discussing the character in more detail.
The finer details of this new Diablo Immortal class are covered far better than I could ever possibly dream of doing over on Blizzard’s official blog, so be sure to give that a proper look. The Blood Knight will be joining the game on July 13th. If you missed the Diablo developer livestream you can still watch it on demand here. It runs about two hours and features a full Q&A session so you might find it worth your time. Otherwise look for the Blood Knight to arrive in Diablo Immortal next week with the Season 15 Battle Pass available now.
