Re-Logic’s action platforming sandbox game Terraria ($4.99) has just been updated on mobile and console platforms with its newest major update titled the ‘Labor of Love’ update. This is the newest update in a line of major updates to the mobile version that recently saw version 1.4 hit iOS and Android. Terraria 1.4.4 or the ‘Labor of Love’ update has many highlights. In addition to three new seeds: the Remix Seed, the Zenith Seed, and the No Traps Seed, existing seeds have seen improvements. The new content arrives in the form of Town Slimes, new useful equipment like the Shellphone and Terraformer, new builder tools like the Rubblemaker, new Reef Blocks, Ancient Bricks, and a lot more. The full patch notes with mobile and console-specific changes can be viewed here. If you’ve not gotten it yet, you can buy Terraria on the App Store for iOS here and on Google Play for Android here. It is priced at a fraction of what it costs on console. Check out our review of the game on iOS here. Head over to our forum thread here for more discussion around the recent updates. Now that Terraria has gotten its newest update on mobile, I can’t wait to see what the team does next. This is easily one of the most well-supported and best games in a very long time.
