Ubisoft previously announced Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Mobile for iOS and Android with the aim to bring the true Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege experience to mobile. The tactical first-person shooter in the Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six franchise has been developed from the ground up for mobile platforms by a team in Ubisoft Montreal with other Ubisoft studios involved include Winnipeg, Halifax, Paris, Quebec, Bucharest, Kyiv, Pune, RedLynx, Chengdu and Shanghai. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Mobile includes 5v5 PvP matches, various operators, and more. Today, Ubisoft announced that a closed alpha is set for next week in USA, Canada, and Mexico on Android devices. The closed alpha will include two modes (Secure Area and Bomb), the Bank and Border maps, and 16 operators including Ash, Hibana, and more. If you’d like to try the closed beta in a supported region on Android, you can sign up for a chance here. With the closed alpha set to begin on May 3rd, I hope we get a good look at the gameplay on newer mobile devices. If you missed the development blogpost discussing how it has been in the works of a few years, read it here. The official website also has some details about the operators and gameplay. Hopefully the full release arrives this year worldwide. 2022 is already very interesting with so many quality releases and also the likes of Diablo Immortal coming this June.
