It’s about that time when another new season gets going in the stupidly popular Call of Duty: Mobile. You may recall that it was about a month ago that the Western-themed season 4 “Spurned & Burned" hit, and today Activision has unveiled what’s in store for players in Season 5 which has a Naval theme and has been dubbed “In Deep Water". Probably the biggest news out of this new season is the return of legendary fan-favorite soldier Ghost who will lead you through a brand new themed event that continues the Call of Duty lore. A lore which I don’t follow one single bit. Ghost was… dead? Or missing? Or something? Whatever the case he’s a bad ass, and he’s back. Here’s the official “In Deep Water" trailer.

So as you can see there’s plenty more in store for Season 5 besides Ghost’s event. Of course there is a new Battle Pass which will feature all types of cool new gear, weapons, and characters, both in the free tier flavor and extra goodies for those who fork over for the premium tier. There’s also 3 new multiplayer maps to play in–Suldal Harbor, Docks, and Aniyah Incursion–as well as 2 new multiplayer modes called Cranked: Confirmed and Ground Mission.
