Good Sudoku (Free) by Zach Gage and Jack Schlesinger is an excellent take on Sudoku with a superlative experience surrounding the core game. When it released earlier this year we featured it as our Game of the Week. If you’ve played and enjoyed any of Zach Gage’s games so far, you already know what to expect here in terms of polish and quality. It is full of great visual cues and subtle animations. Today, a major update to the game has gone live bringing in 7 more techniques including Finned Fish, Simple Colors, Empty Rectangles, and Skyscrapers, and more. The update brings over 14,000 new puzzles. Barring that, the update brings remappable keyboard support. This is great for iPad and also the new M1 Macs. Watch the Good Sudoku trailer below:
Good Sudoku 1.0.8 also has an updated save system ensuring faster loading and saving. The update finally brings in an in-app support option for bug reports. If you’ve not played Good Sudoku yet, you can get it on the App Store for iOS here for free. There’s a one time in app purchase to unlock the full game from within. If you’re on Android, there are still plans to bring Good Sudoku to Android. Check out our forum thread for Good Sudoku here.
