It's a shame that modern phones and tablets don't have sufficient CPU/GPU power to support Missile Command's original graphics, and we have to settle for these 80's era vector graphics.

I have to say, I forgot how much stress this game can put on you! To wit, there is an energy timer and the number of lives is low. There is an option to re-up life with adds or buy unlimited lives for $2.99. Personally, I enjoy the game enough (and suck at it enough) that paying for infinite lives was worth it. Way better than Lemmings method of cash grabbing.

It's a perfectly fine port. "Atari" (in dick quotes because they're just a trademark holding company now) is more impressive when they underpromise and over-deliver. "Coleco" learned that a few years ago, and "Intellivision" is poised to be next.
