‘Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3’ Expansion Owners Get More Costumes
A massive wave of 15 new costumes for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 have been revealed over the last week as part of next week’s free update that will be accompanying the big Fantastic Four Expansion Pass content drop. On top of those costumes, however, another set of suits is on the way for Expansion Pass holders. This time it’s the X-Men getting kitted out. Iceman gets his All-New X-Men threads, Cable gets a Classic look, Jean Grey gets her original Marvel Girl outfit, and Gambit gets his cool Age of Apocalypse look.
‘Slay the Spire’ Receives Huge Update Today
Slay the Spire is a really cool game that I’ve lost countless hours to since it came out on Switch. It appears I’ll be losing even more time to the game soon, as the version 2.0 update will be arriving on Switch today. It includes a new character called the Watcher, who uses divine stances and a special staff to deal with her foes. She has a unique set of cards and several relics. In addition to the new character, the update will also bring some balance adjustments, new potions, bug fixes, and all the other usual good stuff we like to see in this sort of thing.

Rhythm of the Gods ($4.99)
SwitchArcade Highlight!
This is an auto-running rhythm game along the lines of things like Muse Dash or Bit.Trip.Runner. You have to jump, slide, block, and slash to the beat in order to keep the Rhythm Gods happy. There are a couple of different modes, including an endless mode to keep you busy once you’ve finished the story. Nothing new here in terms of gameplay, but the Greek mythology theme, stylish graphics, and excellent music make this an easy enough game to recommend.
Bug Academy ($12.99)
Take a variety of bugs through 2.5D levels of physics-based action and help them graduate from bug academy. And you know? It’s actually not too bad. It has a lot of rough edges, but it’s certainly amusing enough. The gameplay stays quite fresh all the way through thanks to the number of different tasks and bugs you’re dealing with. The game got a fairly positive reception when it came out a little while ago on PC, and while it is more expensive on Switch, it’s only a difference of a few bucks. Not something I’d run down the street shouting about, but if you like the sound of the concept, you’ll probably enjoy the game.
