Bandai Namco Entertainment announced a brand new mobile Sword Art Online RPG in the form of Sword Art Online: Alicization Rising Steel (Free) a little while ago. It went up for pre-registration but didn’t have a locked in release date at the time but had some listings pointing to a December release. Today, Sword Art Online: Alicization Rising Steel has gone live on the App Store and Google Play in many regions worldwide a few weeks ahead of schedule. It isn’t available everywhere yet but if it hasn’t shown up on your App Store region by tomorrow, it probably won’t be in the initial launch due to licensing. Sword Art Online: Alicization Rising Steel features Sword Art Online characters with RPG elements. There will be animations and skill showcases from the anime with you being able to control Kirito, Asuna, and more. It features an original story based on Sword Art Online: Alicization.
