‘Fortnite’ Content Update 7.30 Is Here with the Wild West Duos Mode, Bottle Rockets, Environmental Campfires, and More

TouchArcade Rating:

Fortnite (Free) finally got controller support on iOS and Android with Patch 7.30. Using a controller matches you with console players using controllers since Epic Games wants to make sure things are fair. Today, patch 7.30’s content update has arrived adding new items, weapons, and more. Environmental campfires and Bottle rockets make their appearance today alongside the Wild West Duos mode. Watch the Bottle Rockets video below:

Environmental Campfires let you heal with friends. The Wild West Duos mode sees Epic test a new schedule for LTM with new modes rotating every few days. The Wild West Duos mode has a limited set of items and weapons themed after the Wild West as expected. Bottle Rockets is an uncommon item that launches a barrage of bottle rockets in a specified direction. For Environmental Campfires, you can interact with them to have them light up to start healing. The content update has no down time as mentioned earlier. It should be live any minute now.
