The Walking Dead Season 8 is officially back, and it’s time once more to get devastated by dear characters perishing in awful, usually predictable ways. AMC has been working with Next Games, the developer of The Walking Dead: No Man’s Land (Free) to bring some cool new ideas to the platform and connect TV and mobile gaming. So, if you’re one of the many The Walking Dead: No Man’s Land players, get ready to play all kinds of missions based on the current season of the show, a move that should really please fans of the show. Specifically, the new missions coming to the game will include important moments, weapons, and characters from that week’s TWD episode in an attempt to bring the two modes of entertainment closer together.
While we usually get tie-in content in most mobile games based on TV shows, it’s not often we get a show and a mobile game working together on a weekly basis, and I think that’s a great idea. It does put pressure on players to keep up with the show to avoid spoilers, but that’s a small price to pay for the ability to enjoy some of the best moments of the show in an interactive and (almost) simultaneous way.
