The developer behind Hero Generations is working on a single-player card game called Brave Hand, and starting today you can check it out for yourself in its Android Public Beta, or Early Access program as it’s also called. And we have a (vague) release window: late November. As we talked about a few weeks ago, Brave Hand takes inspiration from games like War and Solitaire along with the strategy ideas from collectible card games. It also visually resembles games like Card Thief and Card Crawl, although it appears to be more narrative-driven than those card games.
In Brave Hand you find yourself on a mysterious island, and you discover a mysterious card game that allows you to uncover clues about the game’s origin, its hidden powers, and much more. The game will come with three game modes and 16 themes you can unlock, and it has really lovely art. If you want to find out more about the game, head over to our Upcoming Games forum thread, and if you’re an Android player, head over here to grab the open beta.
