It’s time for Minecraft ($6.99) to join the Halloween celebrations with all kinds of themed events across the game’s official partner servers. Hearing Halloween and Minecraft in the same update takes me back to the original Halloween update in 2010, when we got the Nether and pumpkins. Good old days. The game has come a long way since those days, as you can see in this Spooktakular celebration. For the next 20 days (until October 31st), you can visit the three official servers—Mineplex, InPvP, and Lifeboat—to experience a ton of different events, games, and, of course, frightful surprises. The Lifeboat server will host hostile zombie invasions, with players enjoying the Haunted House parkour courses. And, of course, the lobby will be Halloween-themed.

InPvP will have a Haunted Mansion SkyWars map and various houses hosting old-fashioned trick-or-treating with friends. And the Marketplace will offer limited-time creepy pets. Finally, Mineplex will have you facing the Pumpkin King for random quests and Trick-or-Treat Boxes. You’ll even have to fight Flaming Pumpkins for big prizes.
