Clash Royale (Free) players have been very divided on the recent 2v2 mode addition because while the mode itself was fun, having to play it with randoms as your teammates often took most of the fun away and led to all kinds of rage. Well, it looks that Supercell is finally fixing that issue in the upcoming October update. According to the latest sneak peek, you will now be able to do 2v2 challenges with clan mates and friends instead of random players, which should elevate the mode tremendously. And, to add even more fun to the mode, you’ll be able to use brand new emote phrases to communicate with your teammate after the match.
The new sneak peek also revealed improved challenges and new challenges types. For instance, there’s the Casual Challenge, where you play until you get all of the rewards, and the Mirror Challenge, where you and your opponent use identical decks. This update looks like it’s going to really improve the game and make it less frustrating to play, so I’m looking forward to checking it out. The developers seem to be listening to player feedback (even if they don’t always act fast enough), and that bodes well for the game.
