If you’re a Digimon fan, you’ll be glad to know that Digimon Links, a game that’s been out in Japan for a while now, is on its way to our shores, and now we got the first English language trailer that shows off the game’s features. Digimon Links lets you train Digimon on your farm, which requires you to build various buildings that give your Digimon perks in battle. You will also use that farm to deal with some unexplained phenomena, whatever those are. Then, you take those Digimon to battle using the game’s 3 vs 3 turn-based system, where leader skills, signature and legacy skills, and attributes and resistances help you make it through victorious. I’m sure you’ve never heard of a battle system like this one, right?
The game also lets you part up with up to 3 other online players and take part in co-op battles. And since all players share the AP required to activate the various skills, you’ll have to work together if you are to carry the day. If the co-op battles work well, they are going to be quite fun to play. No word yet on release date, but you can pre-register for Android if you want to.
