With Star Wars: The Last Jedi slowly drawing nearer and with the director for Star Wars: Episode IX getting fired the other day, Star Wars has been in the news quite a bit the last couple of weeks, and what better time for Star Wars: Force Collection (Free) to add new Jedi-related content to the game and get players excited again. Specifically, in celebration of its fourth anniversary, the game is getting a new BB-8 5-stars card along with a First Order Stormtrooper 5-stars card. In addition to these new cards, from today until September 13th Star Wars: Force Collection will run a Revenge of the Bosses event with Han Solo and Kylo Ren 5-star cards as rewards. I wonder if (spoilers) the Kylo Ren card kills the Han Solo card if they’re in the same deck, all the while the Han card looks in disbelief and disappointment. Or maybe we’ll get the Undercover Boss version of Kylo Ren.

As is always the case with events like this one, there will be login bonuses for those who log in while the event is live, and there’s also a chance to earn an additional 5-star card. It’s always amusing seeing the many Star Wars game on the App Store run all kinds of promotions as they try to ride the coattails of all the big Star Wars movies coming out.
