While I wasn’t that impressed with Minecraft: Story Mode Season 2 (Free) Episode 1, I’m looking forward to seeing where the story goes, and we won’t have to wait long for Episode 2 to hit. Giant Consequences will be available for mobile on August 15th for the usual $4.99. Episode 1 had Jesse and Petra venture into an underwater temple with Jesse wearing the mysterious glove that he found. But while our heroes manage to escape the underwater temple, they are followed back to Beacontown by a (spoilers) gigantic prismarine colossus, and he means business. It will be up to Jesse and the gang to figure out the mystery behind the Admin and to face the gigantic (get it?) consequences of their actions.

As I talked about in my review of Episode 1, the new season didn’t get off to a good start partly because the narrative wasn’t as tight as previous attempts and because the new gameplay additions didn’t work that well. I’m hoping the new episode will be an improvement and will get the season back on the right (mine)cart.
