Developer Pixel Envision, who last brought us the clever puzzler kubic (Free) when it was published by Appsolute Games exactly one year ago, have another neat looking puzzler in the works, a minimalist game called noded. The game has you folding up a collection of nodes connected with a line in an effort to match the shape shown at the top of the screen. It actually sounds quite similar to kubic but with node-folding instead of block-placing. Check out the trailer.
noded will include 80 hand-crafted levels and a soothing soundtrack by Kyle Preston of Prune ($4.99) fame. You can challenge yourself to complete each puzzle in as few a moves as possible, but there are no time restrictions or anything like that and it sounds like noded is aiming to be a relaxing puzzle experience. It’s set to release on August 2nd for just 99¢ with no ads or in-app purchases, so puzzle fans should keep an eye out for noded in a couple of weeks.
