A few days ago we wrote that the TCG/MMORPG Eminence: Xander’s Tales was ready to go into open beta after quite some time in development. While the open beta is still coming, it has been pushed back a month to the end of July. Apparently, the game utilizes a third-party tool for the backend system, and its provider is shutting it down. So, the developers will now build their own server infrastructure, and even though most of the work has already been done, the system needs to be tested to ensure everything is smooth. So, you’ll have to be a bit more patient.
Eminence: Xander’s Tales, in case you missed the last story, is a trading card game where you collect cards when beating your opponents. The game also has an MMO environment with RPG elements, multiplayer guilds, events, tournaments, and more. Hop over here to sign up for the beta, and head over to our Upcoming Games forum thread for more.
