We wrote about Project MALLOW a few months back because we liked its fun music and its interesting story, and now it’s been announced that the game will release on July 18th. MALLOW is a maddeningly difficult 2D puzzle platformer, as its developers call it, that has you playing a sentient marshmallow that has to launch and stick its way across over 100 level as it tries to escape a candy factory. I’m sure there’s a metaphor somewhere in there. As is to be expected, you’ll have to make it through all kinds of flames, saw blades, lasers, and probably the mouths of all those craving for marshmallows right now.
The game will be launching July 18th as a free download for both iOS and Android, and if you want to play the whole game, you’ll be able to through an IAP. Looks like a fun game that’s probably going to make me throw my phone across the room quite a few times.
